Mission Statement

The pharmacist has always been an easily accessible and reliable source of healthcare information. Like the rest of “healthcare” unfortunately it has mutated into a corporate controlled nightmare staffed by a perpetual chain of student loan debt slaves who cannot afford to have independent thoughts. This has left patients defenseless and at the mercy of a system they neither understand or trust. Pharmacoconuts strives to help educate patients with entertaining and educational articles . The more you know the less harm the system can inflict. Knowledge is power and the most trusted nuts in news hope to empower you to begin the journey to a healthier life.

I started working in community pharmacy when I was sixteen years old. Ringing the cash register at a local drugstore I worked my way up to being a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician. I then attended Virginia Commonwealth University for my undergraduate studies and obtained my Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2010 from the VCU School of Pharmacy. My time in pharmacy has taught me that honesty is the best policy when it comes medicine. All drugs & therapies have positive and negative affects and proper use involves a risk benefit analysis. The complete abandonment of this principle is what led me to start Pharmacoconuts with my brother who is a gifted artist.
